Step-by-Step Installation Prep Your Hair Braid your natural hair straight back or wrap it flat. Put on a wig cap to protect your hair and create a smooth base. Prepare the Wig Cap Place the wig cap over your hairline. Apply a thin layer of adhesive spray or gel along your hairline to hold the cap in place. Use a blow dryer (cool setting) to dry it until tacky. Trim away the excess cap around your hairline. Prep the Lace Wig Place the wig on your head to check the fit. Trim the extra lace around the front carefully (do it while the wig is off). Apply Adhesive Spray or apply a thin layer of lace glue along your hairline where the lace will sit. Let it dry until tacky (not completely dry). Lay the Wig Place the lace frontal onto the adhesive, starting at the middle of your forehead, then pressing down toward the sides. Use the end of a comb or edge brush to press the lace into the glue for a seamless melt. Secure & Blend Tie down the hairline with a silk scarf or elastic band for 10–15 minutes. Apply foundation or powder that matches your skin tone along the lace for a natural look. Style as Desired Part, curl, straighten, or style the wig to your preference.
